Evaggelia Athanasiou

Evangelia K. Athanasiou, MD, graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Ioannena in 1990. In 1998 she was awarded the Specialty Title of “Anatomic Pathologist” while in 2003 she completed her doctorate at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Following that she worked as a paid scientific partner for the Laboratory of General Pathology and Pathological Anatomy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (LGPPA-AUTH) for 3 years.

Since then she has been working as a Pathologist while at the same time being in collaboration with the Department of Cytological and Gene Therapy of the Hematological Clinic of the “G.Papanikolaou” Hospital as non-waged scientific collaborator as well as a waged laboratory partner for the School of Health and Medical Care of the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki.
