With HaemArray Lung we focus in EGFR gene and the mutants the exon 20 (T790M) carries that are statistically displaying more frequently genetically unstable in non-small cell lung cancer and associated with response to targeted therapy of inhibitors of kinase activity of tyrosine (TKI).
It is possible to enrich the number of exons of the EGFR genes that are tested (exon 19 deletions, exon 21 L858R).
Identification of mutations in exons 19, 20, 21 of the EGFR gene may confirm that the patient is resistant to treatment and alternative therapies may be applied.
