Petros Kotsis graduated from the Department of Pharmacy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1988. In 1989 he started his career in multinational companies in sales, as a medical representative for the American company Squibb. Following this, in 1992, he became Medical CRA for the French company Rhône-Poulenc Rorer with his main responsibility being conducting and monitoring clinical studies in Northern Greece.

From 1994 to 1999 he worked as a specialist in oncology and haematology pharmaceuticals and placed several of the company’s pioneering drugs on the market in Northern Greece. In 2000, he became Oncology Area Manager for Aventis, with responsibility for sales, team coaching, participation in Greek and international conferences, public relations with scientists in the field, presentations and promotions of medicines in hospital clinics, and product placement in the hospital and outpatient market.

In 2013 he assumed the role of promoting haematology and oncology pharmaceuticals for Sanofi. He has attended a large number of seminars and training workshops in: sales, negotiation, coaching, leadership and motivation. Since October 2019 he has been the sales and information manager at Microdiagnostics.
