Sofia Chatzianagnosti

Immunohistochemistry Team

Sofia Chatzianagnosti graduated in 2022 from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Democritus University of Thrace, having completed her thesis entitled: “Characterisation and isolation of exosomes from the blood plasma of healthy donors”.

At the Laboratory of Gene Expression, Molecular Diagnostics and Modern Therapeutics, she studied molecular biology and immunohistochemistry techniques while during her internship at the Vrije University of Brussels she trained in tissue processing and immunofluorescence techniques. Finally, she has a Master’s degree in Research into Women’s Reproduction, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with the thesis title: “The use of mesenchymal stem cells for the treatment of illnesses that cause female infertility”. During her postgraduate studies, she specialised in the biopathology of cancer of the female reproductive system as well as in reproductive endocrinology. Since 2023, she has been a member of the Immunohistochemistry team in the Microdiagnostics Laboratory.
