Dimitris Xatzibougias

Dimitris Hatzibougias graduated from the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 2002. In 2003, he worked as a rural service doctor in the Prefecture of Serres. From 2003 to 2007 he worked as a resident in the Laboratory of General Pathology and Pathological Anatomy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued for a further year in 2008 in the Cytology Department of the Theagenio Cancer Hospital of Thessaloniki. In 2009, he obtained the title of medical specialist in Pathological Anatomy.

From 2011 to 2012, he performed his military service. In 2013 he was awarded a PhD from the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and since then he has been working at MICRODIAGNOSTICS. In 2016, he completed his postgraduate studies with a Master of Science from the School of Economics and Business Administration of the International Hellenic University.

As Managing Director of Microdiagnostics, his main concern is to ensure the smooth implementation of the laboratory’s culture throughout its departments, as well as the harmonious cooperation, communication and coordination among these departments. The continuous contact between the departments and the network of associates and clients of the laboratory is one of its most important goals for its ongoing improvement.
