MIKRODIAGNOSTICS S.A. is pleased to announce its participation in the molecular profiling program for patients with endometrial cancer of the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology (HeSMO) – Phase 2.
The program is open to patients with endometrial cancer who are at least 18 years of age and have a histologically confirmed diagnosis of endometrial cancer. Patients receiving second-line or subsequent lines of treatment are excluded.
The program includes an enriched number of molecular tests compared with Phase 1, further supporting disease classification and prognosis, as well as the implementation of the most appropriate, personalized treatment regimen, in accordance with the latest guidelines.
The cost of participation in the program for eligible patients is covered by HeSMO, thereby helping to fill a gap left by the state, as molecular tests for most solid tumors remain non-reimbursed.
