- We ascertain that the entirety of the material provided is being used, without particles or fragments of tissue that often remain in the aspiration needle (FNA) going to waste, as is often the case.
- We guarantee the sufficiency of the specimen in case additional tests are required for a more accurate and clear diagnosis (immunocytochemistry)
- We guarantee that a sufficient specimen is collected to allow for subsequent molecular testing. As such, if a tumor is found, its genetic profile can be examined. In this way the patient can be provided with a personalized treatment without the need for a follow-up biopsy in order to collect a second sample.
